Release-Specific Digital Music Distribution License
The agreement to be accepted separately for each release submitted to DivineEpic Music. Release and rights-holder details are recorded in the release submission, not published on this page.
1. Parties and release details
This Release-Specific Digital Music Distribution License is between the person or entity submitting the release (the “Rights Holder” or “Licensor”) and DivineEpic Music (the “Distributor” or “Licensee”). The Rights Holder’s identity and contact details are maintained in the submission record and are intentionally not reproduced on this public policy page.
2. Rights and ownership declaration
The Rights Holder confirms that they own or lawfully control the rights required to distribute, monetize and digitally exploit each track included in the release, including applicable master recording, sound recording and digital distribution rights. The Rights Holder confirms that recordings and submitted materials are original or that any third-party material has been disclosed and properly authorized, and that no conflicting agreement prevents the rights granted here.
3. Distribution authorization
The Rights Holder grants DivineEpic Music a non-exclusive, worldwide licence and authorization to distribute, deliver, monetize, administer and digitally exploit the identified release through applicable digital music platforms and services, including Spotify, Apple Music and other DSPs. Where applicable and eligible, this authorization may include YouTube Content ID, YouTube rights management, Facebook/Meta rights management, CRBT/Caller Tune and related identification or monetization services.
4. Authorized service providers
The Rights Holder authorizes DivineEpic Music to use authorized distributors, aggregators, technology providers, service partners and other operational partners to facilitate distribution, delivery, rights management and monetization. Activity performed through such authorized partners is covered by this licence.
5. No conflicting distribution
While this release is authorized for distribution or rights management through DivineEpic Music, the Rights Holder will not knowingly authorize another distributor, aggregator or rights-management provider to manage the same release in a way that creates conflicting distribution, monetization, Content ID or rights-management claims.
6. Ownership remains with the Rights Holder
This licence does not transfer ownership of master recordings, sound recordings, compositions or underlying copyrights to DivineEpic Music. Ownership remains with the Rights Holder or applicable rights owner. DivineEpic Music receives only the licence and authorization needed to provide the services described here.
7. Effective date, term and takedown
This licence becomes effective on the release submission date and remains effective for the authorized services while the release is active, subject to this licence, applicable law and a valid takedown or termination process. After receiving and verifying a valid takedown request, DivineEpic Music will initiate removal with relevant third parties. Platform removal timing is controlled by those third parties and may take approximately 15–20 days after initiation; this is an estimate, not a guarantee.
8. Rights disputes and compliance
If a copyright claim, ownership dispute, takedown notice or other rights-related complaint arises, DivineEpic Music may request supporting documentation and may suspend, restrict or remove the affected release where reasonably necessary to comply with law, platform requirements or rights-management policies.
9. Electronic acceptance
By electronically accepting this licence while submitting the release, the Rights Holder confirms that they have read and understood the terms, that the submitted information is accurate, and that they have legal authority to grant the rights described. The electronic record may associate acceptance with the release ID, licence version, acceptance date/time and relevant submission record.
10. Relationship to the User Agreement
This release-specific licence must be read together with the User & Digital Music Distribution Service Agreement. For a direct inconsistency concerning the ownership, rights, authorization or distribution of this particular release, this release-specific licence governs that release-specific matter; general account, payment, compliance and operational terms remain governed by the User Agreement unless expressly stated otherwise.
